Wonky Food
During my research I have found that there are a number of different reasons why there is so much wasted food. One that serves a massive role, is the rejection on misshapen veg due to cosmetic standards. A he amount of food is wasted because a vegetable is either too big, too small or the incorrect shape. How crazy is that?? It all ends up chopped up in your meal anyway!
This is clearly something that I need to investigate further.
Is this because of the farmers? Government? Supermarkets? or consumers?
How can this be solved?
