Globalisation Lecture

Of all the lectures that have been given this year this one is the most relevant to my essay question. Although it wasn't specific to animals, there were points that I found interesting. It was towards the end of the lecture that it became a little more relevant to my research when looking at 'Al Gore, (2006) ‘An Inconvenient Truth’ dir. Davis Guggenheim and the discussion of global warming. Society have this ever growing need to technology and new things that we're destroying the planet and taking habitat away from animals. The population is constantly growing so they're taking more and more land. A really interesting and thought provoking lecture.
