Presentation feedback

The feedback I got was mixed. Although people liked my paper doll idea and saw a lot of potential, it still needs work. The idea was strong and clear when it came to making sense of what I' trying to say. However, my original idea was to have outfits that showed importance such as a doctor but people thought that I should outfits that showed strength like typical manly jobs such as a boxer.

Research in to cut out dolls

Here are some cut out dolls. I've looked at both modern and old fashions one because I want my own cut out doll to have aspects of both. I don't want my out doll to look too traditional thought, I want it to be my own style.

My favourite idea is the idea to make a paper cut out doll. These were use as kind of toys years ago. They're not really seen anymore. My idea is that I'd illustrate a woman in her underwear to show how the media represent women (objectifying women). I'll them make various clothing that'll fold around her. The clothing I will draw will be for strong independent woman that have done amazing things. For example, a doctor, an astronaut etc. This will show that women actually do these amazing things and this is what media should be celebrating.
